Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Automation + Manual QA Engineer to join
our team. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality product releases by developing
automated test frameworks while also executing thorough manual testing when needed. You
will play a critical role in maintaining a balance between automation efficiency and manual
coverage for complex test scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automated test scripts for Web,
API, and Mobile applications.
Execute detailed manual testing for new features, UI/UX validations, and exploratory
testing where automation isn't applicable.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product
requirements and design documents.
Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution with clear and actionable reporting.
Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to clarify
requirements and ensure test coverage.
Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test runs regularly.
Continuously improve both manual and automated testing strategies to enhance
product quality.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in both Manual +Automation Testing.
Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress,
Playwright, Appium, Postman).
Strong understanding of manual testing practices including functional, regression,
integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
Experience in API testing and backend validation.
Solid knowledge of SQL for database testing.
Strong scripting/programming skills in [Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.].
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Nice to Have:
Experience with performance and load testing (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
Exposure to security testing practices.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Pro-active approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions.
Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
Attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
