Job Description

To control the overall operations of the OT.
To prepare SOPs for the smooth operation of the OT.
To be the first step control for service coordinators.
Coordinate between OT & service providers for maintenance and serviceability of machining and equipment.
Coordinate between OT & CSSD for timely supply of instruments.
To continuously strive to reduce the discharge time of the post operative patients.
To identify the training requirements of the staff and provide them with adequate trainings.
To develop and grow the service line through process improvement, process mapping and process management by analyzing, evaluating, planning , implementing and communicating programs
To ensure that the equipment in the department id functioning satisfactorily or will take necessary corrective action to ensure this.
To assure achievement to department, nursing division and hospital goals, adherence to hospital policies and standards set forth by accreditataion and regulatory of materials agencies.
Inventory control accounting, management ensuring no pilferage takes place.
Optimize OT utilization.
OT scheduling
FOS implementation for OT process.
Organizing of CMEs/ Conferences.
