Job Description
- IT Product Manager will focus on product design, architecture, PRD/BRDs, certification and testing efforts within the organization. Product Manager will work directly with Developers/ Vendors and Business Stakeholders to analyse requirements, organize reviews with internal teams and stakeholders, coordinate testing efforts, collect issues and risks and manage timelines to completion.
- Develop and manage IT product certifications from beginning to end, including PRD/BRD, hardware procurement, resource allocation, testing, application support and issue and risk analysis.
- Provide end to end product management and ensure the PRD/BRD has clear scope, timelines and escalation paths.
- Manage product features. Influence clients, vendors, Business development & cross-functional team priorities..
- Optimizes roadmap intake (e.g., features, bugs, etc.) and improve end-user customer experience.
- Act as an escalation point for the requesting team and key stakeholders to manage risks, develop mitigation plans and path to green throughout the life of the request.
- Identify and manage product dependencies with real-time milestone, task and product health data for all your requests.
Required Candidate profile
- Bachelor's Degree ( BE/ BCA / MCA) from reputed university.
- 6-10 yrs of experience in Product Development, Solution Architect, Design & Architecture in the IT Industry, Computer Software, Market Research, Consumer Product Industry.
- 2+ years of experience working on code directly, & Product Management experience.
- Experience with AGILE, SCRUM and Sprints.
- Very good understanding of the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming paradigms ((E.g. Java-8, Rest APIs, Spark, HTML-CSS, Spark, Microservices, Python, Angular/Reacts, No-SQL(Cassandra, ES ,MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.) and SQL databases), and project/process management tools.
- Experience taking a product from conception to production.
- Experience managing conflict, escalations, negotiating compromise and influencing others and problem solving.
