As a Cloud Platform Engineer you will focus on optimizing, enhancing, and securing AWS platform.
experience handling large scale builds and deployments, complicated architecture that covers microservices, containers and clusters within Cloud.
You will need to understand the broader scope, keeping an eye on many moving parts, understanding infrastructure workload (server platforms, databases, and networking).
Having experience in scripting languages like Bash and Python, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, and knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform would be highly valued, although not mandatory for the role.
Required role Capabilities, Qualifications and Experience
- Capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating autonomy to accomplish tasks and projects.
- Understanding of application code security or cloud security.
- Experience in a scripting language Bash and Python.
- Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code) and deploying/maintaining AWS resources.
- Experience with AWS and its core services.
- Experience with creating CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.) and DevSecOps tooling
