Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a persuasive and goal-oriented Academic Counselor who can drive student enrollment through effective counseling and consultative sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students (via calls, emails, in person) to understand their learning goals and recommend suitable courses/programs.
- Convert leads into enrollments through structured follow-ups, relationship building, and product knowledge.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve or exceed monthly targets.
- Manage the complete student journey from inquiry to enrollment.
- Stay updated on course offerings, industry trends, and competitors.
Qualifications:
- PUC/ Bachelors degree in any discipline (Education or Business preferred).
- 13 years of experience in inside sales, edtech counseling, or academic advising with a sales target.
- Strong communication and closing skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Comfortable working with CRM platforms and sales tracking tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in Edtech sales or B2C inside sales.
- Languages Known :English, Malayalam, Hindi mandatory; knowledge of Kannada or Tamil is an added advantage.
- Sal : Upto 25,000 in hand
