Role Overview: As a Lead Software Development Engineer - Full Stack, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of web applications, working on both front-end and back-end technologies. You will mentor and lead a team of engineers, provide technical guidance, and ensure the delivery of high-performing, scalable, and reliable applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to build solutions that meet business requirements and user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and deployment.
- Architect, design, and develop both front-end and back-end components for scalable web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and functionalities.
- Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, conducting code reviews, providing feedback, and ensuring best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and resolve issues efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving coding standards and development practices.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following established coding standards and methodologies.
- Lead the integration of third-party services and APIs.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of experience in full-stack development with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
- Strong proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, Ruby, .NET).
- Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Selenium).
- Previous experience in leading or managing engineering teams.
