Job Description
- This position is responsible to perform vendor security assessments, analyze risks and processes exceptions to security standards and PEEP requests. The growing regulatory and audit oversight of these critical activities is only increasing, and continued execution of these tasks is very important. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include risk analysis, metrics reporting, and business support. This includes working with business partners, leadership, vendor management and IT leaders and staff. This a critical position responsible to ensure vendor security assessments proceed as required, meet Ameriprise regulatory obligations, capture the necessary requirements, ensure timely response, escalate as needed and report risks and/or security results to leaders, integrate these critical process with CTI and assume the requisite workload. The position is also responsible to ensure exceptions are reported, escalated, addressed timely and consistently to reflect risk appropriately, prevent them from becoming idle and meet our obligations to regulators. ->Willingness to work in Evening shift (4:45pm- 1:15am) >Ability to work under pressure and co-ordinate with offshore/onshore team. Required Qualifications Degree in computer science, engineering, IT or equivalent technical degree. Certification preferred: ISO - 27001, CISA and CISM. Preferred Qualifications In-depth knowledge with at least 2-4 years of experience working Global Risk and Compliance domain. Strong communication skills working with users across globe on Information Security best practices exception, assessments and audit modules. ISO-27001, CISA, CISM certifications a plus.
