- Job description We are looking for someone who is capable of bridging disciplines to work with the hardware and systems engineers. This role will span the scope of both technical leadership, as well as people management. This role will require a leader capable of operating in both the hardware and the firmware environments. This person will be responsible for providing novel solutions in an agile environment while also producing robust, verified code. Understand and promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients" objectives. Overall 20+ years of experience in Software Industry and 10+ years of strong Architecting/Solutioning experience Should have very good experience in responding to RFI/RFQ/RFP & in preparing Statement of Work (SOW) - Technical and Commercial Proposals Good knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Smart/Digital Factory, Digital Transformation Have the ability to work as systems level architect and hardware/software development guru, from Hardware circuit design, Board bring up, firmware and middleware through integration, test, and operations. Specify, evaluate and test components ranging from batteries and processors to solenoids and IMUs Define and maintain the interface requirements to coordinate across engineering teams Must understand hardware devices, physical networks (such as 4G, LoRa, NB-IoT, BLE, ZIGBEE, etc.), network protocols (such as MQTT, TCP-IP, HTTP, OPC-UA, MODBUS, etc.) and non-functional requirements (such as security, scalability, performance, reliability, storage, latency, etc.) Knowledge of software development technologies such as Java, .NET, PHP, ASP, VueJS, Angular, React, Windows, Linux, Android, iPhone, etc. Knowledge of machine learning, AI, computer vision and how they will impact the industry and society Solid understanding of wireless protocol stacks, chipsets in IoT and Automotive systems and/or robotics Experience with algorithm development such as object segmentation, classification, and prediction Experience with computer vision algorithms, especially in the context of 3D data Experience working in both prototyping and formal product development environments Ability to partition designs and justify tradeoffs between hardware, firmware, and software Experience in software architecture and API development Experience in firmware development for both Windows and Linux operating systems Solid grasp of computer architecture and operating system principles Experience with various software design patterns, especially object oriented design Experience programming in C, C++ and Python Experience developing software drivers and interfacing with hardware modules Knowledge of IT infrastructure such as servers, public and private clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, Bluemix) Excellent Communication Skills (in Speaking & Writing),
