Job Description
- Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently loading and unloading various types of cargo, such as containers, bulk materials, or liquids, from ships, trucks, railcars, or barges.
- Material Handling: Overseeing the movement and transfer of materials within the terminal facility, ensuring accurate placement and storage.
- Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining terminal equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, conveyors, and other machinery, to facilitate loading and unloading operations.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols, regulations, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Documentation: Accurately recording and documenting all operations, including loading and unloading activities, material transfers, and equipment inspections.
- Communication: Communicating effectively with various parties, including ship crews, truck drivers, and other terminal personnel, to coordinate operations.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or safety concerns, to ensure smooth and efficient terminal operations.
- Maintenance: Performing routine inspections and maintenance on terminal equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety
