Senior Automation API Engineer (Selenium, Java, API Testing)
Location: Trivandrum or Cochin, Kerala
Experience: 4+ years
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing Engineer with expertise in Selenium (Java) and API Automation (Rest Assured) to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will leverage your strong knowledge of Core Java, BDD/TDD frameworks, and Database Automation Testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role will also involve hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, test management tools (such as JIRA), and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:Design and develop automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing using Selenium (Java) and Rest Assured for API testing.
Implement and maintain BDD/TDD frameworks to drive continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Perform Database automation testing to ensure data integrity and performance across various databases.
Integrate automated tests into Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline execution.
Conduct feasibility analysis and effort estimation for automation framework design and implementation.
Collaborate with development teams to identify test scenarios and automate the testing of both APIs and UI components.
- Stakeholder communication and client interaction to gather testing requirements and provide status updates.
Work closely with Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Maintain test management tools (JIRA) to track test cases, defects, and test execution results.
Provide regular feedback and support to development teams to improve code quality and testing processes.
