Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated fresher to join our GIS team as a GIS Mapping Executive. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates who are passionate about maps, data, and digital mapping tools. You will work on ArcGIS-based mapping projects, assist in data digitization, and support senior team members in delivering accurate spatial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and updating maps using ArcGIS software
• Support digitization, georeferencing, and spatial data editing tasks
• Perform basic spatial analysis under supervision
• Collect and organize GIS data from field or survey teams
• Help in maintaining GIS databases and shapefiles
• Integrate CAD files with GIS systems as required
• Collaborate with senior mapping leads and project managers on daily tasks
• Ensure accuracy and quality in mapped data and project files
• Learn and apply mapping standards and coordinate systems.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop / QGIS
• Familiarity with AutoCAD
• Understanding of HTML and CSS for simple map customization (a plus, not mandatory)
• Good computer skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• GIS training or coursework is preferred (ArcGIS/QGIS)
• Strong interest in geospatial technology and mapping tools
