Job Description
We are immediately hiring for Google Cloud Engineers/Google Cloud DevOps Engineer for Pune location.
Role & responsibilities
5 to 8 years of development experience.
- Design, implement, and manage GCP cloud infrastructure with services such as Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
- Architect scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud-based applications.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, and other GCP-native services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that infrastructure is optimized for performance, security, and cost.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automating deployment and infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Provide guidance on cloud security best practices including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, and data encryption.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, ensuring uptime and reliability of production systems.
- Monitor cloud resources and applications using Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and third-party observability tools.
- Implement cloud migration strategies, helping to transition applications and workloads from on-premises environments to the cloud.
- Provide leadership in cloud cost management and optimization strategies to ensure that the use of GCP resources is efficient and cost-effective.
- Document cloud infrastructure and processes, ensuring that knowledge is shared within the team and with other stakeholders.
