Job Description
- Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Database Administrator/SQL Server Developer to join our dynamic IT team. As a Database Administrator with 10+ years of hands-on-experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our organization's database systems. This position requires a 100% individual contributor role. Skills SKILLS MUST HAVE: Database Management: Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server software. Design, implement, and maintain database structures. Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery planning. Monitor database performance and optimize as needed. Security Implement and maintain database security measures, including user authentication and authorization. Perform regular security audits and address vulnerabilities promptly. Performance Tuning Identify and resolve performance issues, optimizing queries and database performance. Implement best practices for database performance and resource utilization. Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve database related issues promptly. Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT professionals. Upgrades And Patches Stay current with SQL Server updates and patches. Plan and execute database upgrades as necessary. Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures. Collaboration Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and implementation. Work closely with system administrators and network engineers to address infrastructure-related issues. Our Ideal Candidate Comes With Proven experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator or similar role. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its various components. Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures. Experience in performance tuning and optimization. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.,
