Job Description

We have immediate opening for Sr. Android Developer

Work Experience: 4 - 7 Years

Location: Mumbai/Kolkata

 

Primary: Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, Unit testing. 

Secondary: Firebase, Git, Cloud development understanding like Google/Azure/AWS. 

 

Job Details:

1. Excellent Communication skills.
2. 4+Years in Android development.
3. End to end Android Application development understanding.
4. Work independently & help team mates.
5. Great command over Java and Kotlin programming languages (mandatory).
6. Good understanding of Android frameworks and libraries like - Retrofit, ExoPlayer, Google Maps API, WebView APIs, Glide etc.
7. Dependency Injection - HILT.
8. Good understanding of Databases like Room, Realm etc.
9. Good knowledge of layout implementations using XML - LinearLayout, Relative Layout, Constraint Layout, Recycler View etc. Good to have understanding of declarative UI building using Jetpack Compose.

• Strong skills in Unit/UI testing with tools like Espresso and TDD on Android.
• Architecture concepts like MVC, MVVM, VIPER and design patterns like Singleton, Builder, Factory, Adapter etc.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API and GraphQL.
• Multithreading - Looper, Message Queues, Work Managers and Kotlin Async/Await.
• Reactive Programming using RxJava/RxKotlin, Live Data and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Gradle Build Tool.
• Understanding of Android Studio profiling tools - networks, leaks, CPU profiler etc.
• Understanding of Googles App Quality Guidelines and Material design guidelines.
• Added advantage - Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform, Android wear OS, Android TV.
• Version control tools like Git/Bitbucket.
• Experience on Agile/SCRUM (Preferred).
• Good Written & Communications skills.
• Delegating Work to fellow junior developers and guiding them.
• Ensure Delivery within Time maintaining Quality.
• Coding, Design Architecture, Documentation.
• Good to have exposure to information security practices.

 

Qualifications:

• BE/BCS or Equivalent CSE/IT
• Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed
• Excellent communication and analysis skills.
• Experience with US clients preferred.
