ETL Test Engineer - Functional/Database Testing @ Aadvi Tech Solutions

Job Description

Must-Have :

- More than 5 years of experience into functional testing and database/ETL testing

- Understanding on Big Data and Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Data concepts, ETL , Data warehousing, Hadoop, Hive, RDBMS

- Able to analyze & understand the Source to Target Dataset Mapping Documents and build positive and negative tests around the data transformation logic, null handling etc.

- Test Data Management - Able to generate/simulate prod like quality data for performing the test validations

- Experience in developing complex SQL queries to perform data validations

- Programming skills preferably in Python

Nice to Have :

- Automation using Java & Selenium using Cucumber BDD Framework

- Experience on Zephyr for Test Case Management in JIRA

- Knowledge on Performance testing

- Knowledge on DevOps Tooling

Technical Requirements :

- Be results-oriented with a strong attention to detail

- Showcase strong analytic skills to process complex requirements and come up with end-to-end scenarios and test cases

- Be an effective communicator and team player

- Provide timely updates on release health with detailed progress and proactively highlight any issues or risks

- Practices continuous learning and is innovative to the core
