Job Description:

Fortis Hospital Jaipur invites applications for an Attending Consultant to strengthen our GI, Minimal Access & Bariatric Surgery services. The ideal candidate will bring clinical excellence, patient-centricity, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:

Perform surgeries and procedures as per privileging rights in operating theatres and day surgery units. Attend inpatient consultations, perform ward rounds, and provide specialist care to patients.Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation from admission to discharge.

Ensure informed consent is obtained and documented for all procedures.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care.

Perform night duty calls as per roster and ensure clear patient care plans.Lead and mentor junior medical staff.

Education & Research:

Conduct training sessions for undergraduate, postgraduate, nursing, paramedical, and EMT staff.

Actively participate in morbidity & mortality meetings and CME activities.

Engage in outreach programs such as public talks and seminars.Administration:

Report any deviations or system errors promptly to the appropriate authority.

Prepare medical reports accurately and timely in response to patient or institutional requests.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

MS/DNB in General Surgery with specialization or experience in GI, Minimal Access & Bariatric Surgery. 0-3 years of post-qualification experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
