Asset and Cards Test Lead @ Fortune India

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage test planning, strategy, execution, and reporting for asset (loan)

and cards-related projects.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand

product requirements and ensure test coverage.

Design and execute comprehensive test cases/scenarios across functional,

integration, UAT, and regression phases.

Oversee test automation where applicable and coordinate with automation teams.

Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards across SDLC.

Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution with development teams.

Coordinate testing efforts across cross-functional and cross-geographical teams.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior QA team members.

Participate in release management and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

Strong domain knowledge in retail banking especially loans, mortgages, credit/debit

cards, and card payment processing.

Hands-on experience with testing tools like HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Experience with host systems (e.g., VisionPLUS, TSYS, FinnOne, Finacle) is a plus.

Understanding of card transaction lifecycles, EMV, ISO 8583, clearing & settlement

processes.

Experience in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
• Experience with API testing and automation frameworks.
• Exposure to performance and security testing tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the banking domain.
