Position: Business Development
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Accounts Manager with a strong emphasis on client acquisition and Statement of Work (SOW)-based project engagements. The ideal candidate will excel in building and maintaining relationships with mid-sized clients, identifying business opportunities, and aligning client needs with our service offerings. This role blends strategic sales, business development, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Business Development
Identify and secure mid-sized clients across various industries for SOW-based project work.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and business growth goals.
Utilize market research, lead generation tools, and networking to identify and pursue new opportunities.
Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships by understanding client objectives and challenges.
Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring consistent and exceptional client service.
Foster client trust to promote repeat business and generate referrals.
SOW Project Scoping & Delivery
Collaborate with clients to define project scope, budgets, and timelines.
Work with internal delivery teams to scope solutions and ensure high-quality execution.
Maintain alignment between client expectations and the organizations capabilities.
Revenue Generation & Account Expansion
Drive new revenue by winning profitable SOW projects.
Identify and execute upselling or cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and project opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Input
Monitor industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities.
Share insights with internal teams to enhance offerings and maintain competitiveness.
Contribute to strategic planning by identifying emerging markets or services for expansion.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, client acquisition, or account management within professional services, consulting, or project-based industries.
Proven track record in acquiring new clients and winning SOW-based projects.
Prior experience in:
Business development for IT, Non-IT, Engineering, or Professional Services
Contract/Perm Staffing, Managed Services, SOW, or Hire-Train-Deploy models
Core Competencies
