Job Description
Position Project Manager
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA from a top-tier institution.
- Certified in PMP, PgMP, or Prince2.
Experience and Skills Required:
- 7-8+ years of Project Management experience, consistently working as a Project Manager or Business Analyst.
- Proven expertise in setting up Project Governance frameworks, including organizing and leading Steering Groups, and preparing high-quality presentations for senior stakeholders (MD level).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale projects with 50+ team members.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and proficiency in creating professional-grade PPTs and Excel analyses.
- Track record of navigating and solving ambiguous, unstructured problems with self-defined approaches.
Core Competencies:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders (Senior VPs, MDs).
- Self-starter with ownership mindsetaccountable for delivering results independently post-training.
- Perseverance and follow-through, adept at influencing and managing timelines and deliverables.
- Flexible to work 4-5 hours during US hours (5:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST).
Exclusions:
- Candidates with engineering backgrounds or those primarily focused on Scrum Master/Product Owner roles need not apply. The role emphasizes pure-play Project Management.
