- Job Title: OpenWRT Engineer with Linux Kernel and Driver Development Expertise Job Description: We are seeking an experienced 4 to 8 years OpenWRT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux kernel debugging and support, Linux driver development, and OpenWRT porting. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our embedded Linux systems, ensuring robust and efficient operation of our products. Responsibilities: 1.OpenWRT Porting and Development: Port OpenWRT to new hardware platforms. Customize and optimize OpenWRT for specific hardware requirements. Develop, configure, and maintain OpenWRT packages and modules. 2.Linux Kernel Debugging and Support: Perform kernel debugging to identify and resolve issues. Provide support for kernel-related problems, ensuring system stability and performance. Maintain and update the Linux kernel for our embedded systems. 3.Linux Driver Development: Develop and maintain Linux device drivers for various hardware components. Ensure drivers are optimized for performance and reliability. Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate and test drivers with hardware. 4.System Integration and Testing: Integrate various software components with the hardware. Conduct thorough testing to ensure system functionality and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues. 5.Documentation and Collaboration: Document development processes, code, and system configurations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and QA teams. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications: Extensive experience with OpenWRT development and porting. Strong proficiency in Linux kernel debugging and support. Proven experience in Linux driver development. In-depth understanding of embedded Linux systems. Proficient in C/C++ programming languages. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
