Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our team at the Podar Education Network in Powai. This is a full-time, junior-level position requiring 1 to 3 years of experience. The role involves providing essential medical support in a scholastic environment, ensuring the well-being of students and staff members. The ideal candidate will have expertise in areas such as staff nursing, school nursing, and medical care. Qualifications And Skills Proven experience as a nurse in a school or educational setting, ensuring prompt medical care to students and staff. Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a nursing role, demonstrating the ability to handle medical emergencies with professionalism. Strong knowledge in wound care, enabling effective treatment and management of injuries occurring within the school premises. Certification as a staff nurse or related qualification is required to meet the job standards and expectations. Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and school staff, addressing health-related concerns with sensitivity. High level of compassion and patience when dealing with children, ensuring a comforting environment for their healthcare needs. Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate health records and documentation for all students and staff members. Must have skills include nursing expertise, school health protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within educational settings. Roles And Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, administering medications and treatments as needed based on medical assessments. Conduct regular health screenings and checkups to monitor and address any health issues that may arise within the school community. Manage medical supplies and ensure the school health office is equipped and well-maintained for emergency situations. Collaborate with educational staff to promote health education and awareness among students and parents. Respond promptly to any medical emergencies, providing first aid and coordinating with medical professionals as necessary. Develop and implement health care plans for students with chronic illnesses or special needs, ensuring their well-being and safety. Keep detailed medical records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations and policies. Participate in school wellness programs and community health initiatives, promoting a healthy and safe learning environment.,
