Job Description
Work from home, UK client, Full Time, Full Stack Engineer position
This role is for a substantial, fast-growing, and well-respected UK IT Firm who have hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and every day you'll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

The business we are representing are a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solutions, tailored for small to medium-sized manufacturers of equipment, devices, and machinery. They are well known for investing significantly in their staff - this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
They are looking to make a full-time hire for a long-term position.
Location: Remote Work from Home in India
Minimum Experience: 3+ years in Ruby and 3+ years in Angular
Shift Timings: 12 pm - 9:30 pm (Summer), 1 pm - 10:30 pm (Winter)
Roles and responsibilities:
Full-Stack Development
- Build and maintain applications using Ruby on Rails 8 for the backend and Angular 19 for the frontend
- Implement NGRX for scalable and maintainable state management
- Develop robust APIs and ensure high-performance front-end interfaces
Database Management and Integration
- Design, query and optimise databases using Postgres
- Ensure database reliability, security and scalability to support application needs
Code Quality, Testing and Best Practices
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code, ideally using Minitest
- Participate in code reviews and uphold strong engineering standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and system architecture
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with designers, product managers and engineers to deliver features
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups
- Clearly communicate technical challenges and progress to the wider team
Essential skills and experience:
- Ruby on Rails (3+ Years)
- Angular (3+ years)
- NGRX
- Excellent spoken and written English
Desired skills and experience:
- Minitest
- Postgres
- Bootstrap
