Job Description

    Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - Export, Distribution, and Logistics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export, distribution, and logistics, with a focus on managing the flow of goods, products, and supplies from manufacturing to end-customers. Key Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Export Management Prepare and manage export documentation : Prepare and manage export documentation, including Commercial/Export Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, bills of lading (BL), and certificates of origin (COO). Coordinate with CHA, CFT, and other stakeholders: Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA), Container Freight Stations (CFT), and other stakeholders to ensure smooth export operations. Ensure compliance with export regulations : Ensure compliance with export regulations, including those related to customs, taxes, and trade agreements. Arrange for shipping and logistics : Arrange for shipping and logistics, including booking freight forwarders and tracking shipments. Manage export licenses and permits : Manage export licenses and permits, including obtaining and renewing licenses and permits as required. Conduct export audits and compliance checks: Conduct export audits and compliance checks to ensure that export operations are compliant with regulations and company policies. Distribution Management Manage and optimize the distribution network: Manage and optimize the distribution network, including relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Collaborate with the inventory team: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize stockouts and overstocking. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping. Manage distribution agreements and contracts: Manage distribution agreements and contracts, including negotiating and renewing agreements as required. Conduct distribution audits and compliance checks: Conduct distribution audits and compliance checks to ensure that distribution operations are compliant with regulations and company policies. Logistics Management Manage transportation operations: Manage transportation operations, including carrier selection, routing, and scheduling. Collaborate with the warehouse team: Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. Optimize logistics operations: Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams Communicate with cross-functional teams: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and collaboration. Participate in cross-functional meetings: Participate in cross-functional meetings, such as sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings, to ensure that export, distribution, and logistics strategies are aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with sales team: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that customer requirements are met, and that export, distribution, and logistics operations are aligned with sales strategies. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Skills and Abilities. Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Strong attention to detail and analytical ability. Education and Experience Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
