Job Description
Seeking short-term contract to provide technical support for the upgrade of Parkers Oracle Enterprise Data Quality application to current version and the supporting architecture.
- Oracle Upgrade tools
- Understanding of the OPATCH tool and generic JAR file execution to install the OEDQ upgrade. Strong scripting knowledge of Windows PowerShell, JavaScript and Groovy.
- Oracle Database Knowledge
- Understanding of Oracle database structure, SQL queries, data manipulation, and performance tuning to efficiently work with data within the EDQ environment. Support Oracle database upgrade to meet OEDQ certification requirements.
- Java development Kit (JDK) knowledge
- Understanding development tools and supporting libraries combined with the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
- Infrastructure configuration knowledge
- Update and configure Windows Server architecture to meet the upgraded OEDQ requirements. Knowledge of cybersecurity concerns and LDAP configuration. Knowledge of security certificate installation in a Windows Server environment.
- Oracle Administration and Fine-tuning knowledge
- Oracle WebLogic server knowledge
- Update Oracle WebLogic tot eh supporting version of the OEDQ install. Configure and optimize WebLogic to support upgrade OEDQ version.
- Siebel Data Connector
- Understanding of EDQ Siebel connector and functional integration with Legacy Siebel UCM versions.
- EDQ Interface and Functionality
- Proficiency in navigating the EDQ user interface, including data profiling tools, data cleansing rules, matching algorithms, Case Management, email notifications and job scheduling features.
- Data Integration Skills
- Ability to connect to various data sources (flat files, databases, APIs) and extract, transform, and load data into the EDQ platform for processing.
- Effectively communicating with stakeholders to understand their data quality needs, gather requirements, and explain technical concepts related to EDQ implementation.
