We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects in the organization. The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting project teams, coordinating activities, and ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
Project Coordination:
Assist in the overall coordination of project activities from initiation through completion.
Liaise between various stakeholders including internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
Project Planning and Execution:
Support the project manager in defining project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and ensure that they adhere to the established timelines and budget.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and issues in project execution and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
Regularly update project status, highlighting potential risks and roadblocks to the senior project manager.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, reports, meeting notes, and action items.
Prepare periodic progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with project team members to ensure clear roles and responsibilities are defined and executed.
Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve project objectives.
Client Interaction:
Assist in client meetings, ensuring that all project requirements and expectations are understood and met.
Ensure that client feedback is incorporated into the project as necessary.
Quality Control:
Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
Ensure that all activities align with the companys quality control processes.
Education:
A Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in project execution, management, or construction-related activities.
Previous experience in a process industry or Solid Waste Management is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with an ability to think critically and strategically.
Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is an advantage.
