Job Description
- Role Description Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in a Network Operations Engineer role. CCNA certification is mandatory; CCNP certification preferred or actively being pursued. Strong working knowledge of: Branch & Data Centre Switching and Routing Wireless technologies setup, troubleshooting, and security Enterprise Firewalls especially CheckPoint and Palo Alto Internet routing and security principles Cloud technologies (understanding is a strong plus) Interior and exterior routing protocols Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN technologies Proxy technologies Bluecoat or McAfee Load Balancers IP Address Management and network services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP Network management, monitoring & diagnostic tools Network probes and packet capture analysis Excellent communication skills in English Additional Knowledge, Experience, And Qualifications That Will Help Experience working within the ITIL Framework Proficiency with ServiceNow platform Awareness or knowledge of voice, video, and audio-visual solutions What Youll Do Collaborate as part of a global, multi-locational cross-matrix team in a dynamic environment Play a key role in maintaining and evolving the technical network estate Focus on operations and sustaining engineering, with occasional project/change work Partner with teams such as Service Desk, Platforms, Information Security, and End User Services Take ownership of incidents, problems, and issues, ensuring adherence to SLAs and OLAs Serve as a technical resource for: Change requests and project implementations Maintenance activities, firmware upgrades, and patch cycles Work using standard operating procedures and internal documentation Log and update incidents/requests via ServiceNow Maintain awareness of technology roadmaps for both existing and upcoming solutions Shift work, weekend support, and on-call responsibilities are part of the role Key Skills Routing and Switching CCNA Security Firewall Management (CheckPoint, Palo Alto) Skills Routing And Switching,Ccna Security,Firewall,
