Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Apply advanced data science techniques to analyze and interpret finance data for actionable insights.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to enhance business growth and performance.
• Implement machine learning algorithms for customer segmentation, churn prediction, and fraud detection.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to identify key variables and patterns.
• Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of data-driven strategies and initiatives.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging data science methodologies.

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics and data science techniques to uncover valuable insights and drive informed decision-making in finance industry. Your role will involve developing predictive models, analyzing large datasets, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize risk assessment, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and success in the competitive market.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA
• Min -1 -2 years experience
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist in financial industry.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python & SQL.
• Expertise in machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with statistical modelling techniques.
