Job Description

Principal Duties And Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate a strong track record of solving complex business issues and delivering client satisfaction
- Exhibit effective oral and written communication, leadership, project management, and teamwork skills with an ability to interact effectively with different levels of management, from office workers to - C- suite executives.
- Mentor or lead junior team members on a project
- Maintain good relationships with clients and project PMs
- MBA / Technical Master's degrees
- Overseas or MNC working experience
Experience: Industrial, and/or consulting experience in:
- 8+ years of experience in Chemicals supply chain or Chemicals Plant operations experience in Commodity Chemicals or Specialty Chemicals or Petrochemicals Industry
- Working for or with Fortune 500 companies like BASF, Dow Chemicals, DuPont, Akzo Nobel, Shell Chemicals, Lyondell Basel etc. desirable. Also the candidate can come from IT Consulting firms like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM working in the Functional domain side
- Strong industry/functional experience with sound understanding of Chemical industry value chain
- Supply Chain / Plant Operations experience with exposure to Inventory management, Demand Management and Forecasting, Distribution Management and Logistics
- Exposure to Chemical Plant Operations with added skills around Procuring Direct Materials of Chemicals raw material feed will be an added advantage
- Exposure to enterprise systems like SAP PP, SAP MM,SAP SD etc. will an added advantage along with Planning & Scheduling tools like Aspen Tech,etc
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Overview of supply chain optimization concepts around Inventory rationalization, working capital management and institutionalizing Best practices within Chemicals supply chain
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and communication skills
- Good inter-personal skills to work well with clients and other team members
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
Additional Information:
- Business Process mapping, process optimization and process modeling experience
- Overseas or MNC working experience
