Job Summary:
The Corporate Travel Manager is responsible for managing, planning, and overseeing all aspects of domestic and international travel for employees and executives. This includes vendor management, policy enforcement, cost control, travel technology platforms, and ensuring a seamless travel experience while maintaining compliance with corporate travel policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel Planning & Execution:
Coordinate and manage all employee and executive travel bookings (air, hotel, ground transportation, visas).
Coordination for CIP / VIP movements -coordination with Airline, TMCs, Hotel Meet & Assist service at various domestic & International Airports, Insurance, forex, visa validity, Insurance etc.
Planning personal holiday for senior management and employees
Resolving employees Post travel expense management settlement queries
Supporting employees for International Travel request, Guest Profile creations, explaining them travel policies.
Approving quotation, Invoices, Credit notes
Ensuring due diligence on fare offered, comparing fare with market, OTA, Offshore desk
Maintaining records of saving brought by monitoring, providing feedback to airlines on high fare and services
Random feedback from employees and other stakeholders
Ensure smooth execution of travel plans with minimal disruption and duty of care
Knowledge of NDC fare, sustainable travel modes, upcoming trends of industries, networking with peer organizations etc.
Policy & Compliance:
Develop, update, and implement corporate travel policies.
Ensure all travel complies with company policies, budget constraints, and approval hierarchies.
Track deviations and generate exception reports.
Vendor & Contract Management:
Manage global and local contracts - Negotiate with airlines, hotels, travel management companies (TMCs), and car rental providers for corporate deals.
Evaluate vendor performance through SLAs and KPIs.
Cost Control & Reporting:
Monitor and manage travel budgets.
Analyze travel spend and identify opportunities for savings
Prepare periodic MIS and dashboards for leadership review.
Technology & Automation:
Implement and manage corporate travel tools (e.g., SAP Concur, Egencia, Amadeus, or other GDS platforms).
Optimize use of online booking tools (OBTs).
Traveler Support:
Handle escalations and emergency travel support (especially during disruptions or crises).
Provide 24x7 escalation support, Communicate updates, advisories, and guidelines to travelers.
Support and coordination with Travel Team of group companies
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to visa, immigration, insurance, and travel safety protocols.
Work with security teams for risk assessment and emergency response plans.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with HR, Finance, Legal, and Admin departments for integrated travel support.
Coordinate VIP and board-level travel requirements with confidentiality and precision.

Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
8-15 years of experience in corporate travel management
Familiarity with global travel regulations, IATA norms, and corporate policy frameworks
