Job Description
Position
L1 Data engineer
Role & Responsibilities
Experience in handling Data networking & security products.
Experience in troubleshooting and implementation of network Routing / Switching and Firewall products
Customer Service Support,
Knowledge of server and IP networking preferred
Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security measures.
Monitor network performance, identify potential problems, and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot network issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Perform routine network maintenance, including software updates, hardware upgrades, and security patching.
Provide technical support to users and other IT staff.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure network reliability and performance.
Stay updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends.
Participate in the development and implementation of network security policies.
May be involved in project planning and management related to network infrastructure.
Educational Background
Basic Desirable
Diploma (Electronics and Telecommunication),
BE (Electronics and Telecommunication), BSC IT, MSC IT

Essential Skills
Age Group
Juniper certification in Routing & Switching and wireless networking solution
Security Certification
CCNA / CCNP certified
Desired (Additional) Skills
Experience
Knowledge of server and virtualization solution
