Job Description
Job Title: Site Engineer Civil (Industrial Sheds & Machine Foundations)
Job Location: Moula Ali, Telangana
Note: This position requires extensive travel across the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of industrial shed construction and machine foundation works, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to address site-related challenges effectively.
- Interpret and comprehend General Arrangement (GA) drawings, RCC, and foundation drawings for civil and machine foundations.
- Conduct inspections of machine foundations and shed structures to ensure conformity with design specifications.
- Maintain daily and monthly progress reports by coordinating with contractors and verifying the quality of work, material usage, and checklists.
- Ensure consistent and accurate documentation of work progress for timely project completion.
- Liaise with the Design team for drawings and coordinate with the Production GM, Marketing team, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of civil contracts.
- Facilitate the collection of completion certificates from customers upon successful execution of work.
- Collaborate with the Service team and GM (Pune) to provide prompt support and resolution to railway customers with clear and timely communication.
Additional Information:
This role is specifically related to the civil works under contracts awarded by South Central Railway (SCR) for the installation of 7-wheel lathe machines at various locations including Kacheguda, Kakinada, Charlapalli, Tirupati, Ramagundam, Guntupalli, and Moula Ali.
