Job Description
- Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sitecore and Web development engineers, providing guidance on technical challenges and career development Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to team members Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and maintainable Sitecore solutions and web applications Ensure adherence to Sitecore best practices, and drive technical standards across the team Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Collaborate with other engineering leaders to define and enforce coding standards, code review practices, and development workflows Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines Manage the end-to-end delivery of Sitecore projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards Coordinate with other teams to manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and ensure smooth project execution Drive the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software development process Serve as the primary point of contact for Sitecore-related initiatives, communicating project status, risks, and challenges to senior leadership Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Sitecore 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing development teams Deep expertise in Sitecore XP/XM, including Sitecore MVC, SXA, and Sitecore JSS Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, andmodern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js Experience with headless CMS architecture, Sitecore Content Hub, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Solid understanding of frontend technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: Sitecore Certification (Sitecore 9+) Experience with microservices architecture and API-driven development Knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices and design systems.
