Job Description
- Key Responsibilities Database Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement complex database solutions, including data models, tables, indexes, and constraints. Create PL/SQL code (stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages) that is effective and manageable to automate database operations and implement business rules. Database Performance Tuning: To increase query performance and system efficiency overall, identify database performance bottlenecks and apply optimization strategies. To avoid downtime, keep an eye on the health of your database, spot possible problems, and take preventative action. Data Integration and ETL: To extract, transform, and load data from several sources into the target database, design and implement data integration solutions utilizing ETL technologies. Throughout the data integration process, make sure the data is consistent and of high quality. Database Security: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data, including user access controls, encryption, and data masking. Stay up-to-date with security best practices and industry standards. Collaboration and Communication: To comprehend needs and provide excellent solutions, work well with development teams, data analysts, and business stakeholders. Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Skills And Experience Strong PL/SQL development and Oracle database administration skills. extensive familiarity with SQL, SQL tuning, and performance optimization methods. Experience with data modeling and database design concepts. Understanding of data integration and ETL processes. understanding of best practices for database security. strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. the capacity to function both alone and together. Preferred Skills Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. Familiarity with cloud-based database systems, such as AWS RDS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Familiarity with programming languages for automation, such as Python and Perl. Certification in Oracle Database Administration or PL/SQL.
