General Summary:
We are looking for a talented, motivated leader with experience in building Scalable Cloud Services, Infrastructure, and processes. As part of the IoT (Internet of Things) team you will be working on the next generation of IoT products. In this role, you will be leading test automation and infrastructure development, test new design, evaluate, and validate architectural choices which have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers. You will be working directly with Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, and Program Managers to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms.
As a Software Development Engineer and Test (SDET) In This Role
The ideal candidate will have industry-leading technical abilities and excellent communication skills. This person should have a combination of in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance, solid understanding of the cloud systems and application software, and knowledge of object-oriented design principles. The test software you build should expose defects in hardware, services, and application code as well as defects at component and feature integration levels.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- Knowledge of Cloud Services AWS and/or Azure is a must.
- 7+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience.
- 9+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- 8+ years of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, OR as an SDET
- 8+ years of experience in Java or C development OR white box testing
- 7+ years of experience in C++, Python, Shell, OR Java
- 8+ Years of experience in API Automation Frameworks like Rest Assured OR Restsharp, Postman
- 7+ Experience in Ui Automation Frameworks like Selenium OR Playwright
- 8+ Experience in Security Testing tools like BurpSuite,OWASP ZAP OR Similar
- 8+ years of experience to programmatically test the product, measure test coverage, develop the best automation, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
