Role overview - Chief Technology Officer Were looking for an experienced CTO to lead our AI and engineering initiatives, shaping the future of healthcare technology through cutting-edge innovation. If youre a hands-on problem solver with a passion for building scalable solutions, wed love to connect. Key Responsibilities: AI Strategy and Development: Lead the design, development, and scaling of Tap Health's AI architecture, including natural language processing (NLP), machine learning (ML), and AI-driven personalization algorithms. AI-Driven Digital Therapeutics: Develop and implement AI-driven digital therapeutics for chronic disease management. This includes utilizing predictive models, real-time adjustments, and reward psychology to improve patient adherence and health outcomes, surpassing traditional human-led programs. Engineering Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the engineering team, including product development, infrastructure, and scalability. Lead the team in developing both consumer and B2B applications across mobile, SDK, and PWA (Progressive Web Apps), ensuring seamless and robust platform performance. API and Integration Management: Build and manage APIs for third-party services, enabling the integration of Tap Healths platform into the broader healthcare ecosystem, including partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, labs, and healthcare providers. Innovative Technology Solutions: Lead efforts to incorporate emerging technologies, such as AI-driven voice interfaces and advanced data analytics, to improve accessibility, enhance user experience, and ensure Tap Healths platform remains a market leader in health tech. Data Management and Security: Ensure secure and efficient data management practices that comply with regulatory requirements and best practices for healthcare data privacy, including the implementation of advanced encryption and secure data exchange standards. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with product, design, and business teams to align technical development with company goals and user needs. Act as a bridge between the engineering team and other departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration of AI capabilities into the overall platform. Innovation and R&D: Drive research and innovation initiatives to explore new AI technologies that could further enhance our platforms capabilities, such as machine learning model optimization, adaptive algorithms, and real-time predictive analytics. Scalability and Infrastructure: Design scalable architecture that supports high availability and low latency, catering to the growing needs of our users. Ensure that Tap Healths platform can handle rapid growth in users and data while maintaining excellent performance. Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class engineering and AI team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team remains motivated and focused on delivering impactful healthcare solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 10-15 years of relevant experience in a senior technology leadership role in a consumer Internet business A hands-on problem solver, who still loves to writing code. Proven experience in leading AI and engineering teams, preferably in health tech or consumer technology. Strong expertise in machine learning, NLP, and AI technologies, with experience in building and deploying production-grade AI models. Experience with mobile app development, SDKs, and PWA. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into consumer-facing platforms, enhancing user engagement and experience. Experience in building secure, scalable infrastructure that complies with healthcare data privacy standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills, with a track record of driving high-performance teams to achieve challenging goals.,
