    Job Summary: Branch Manager - Operations The Branch Manager Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing all operational activities at the branch level. This role involves ensuring smooth parcel movement, cost-efficient operations, compliance with company policies, and maintaining service quality standards. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to drive efficiency in logistics and distribution. --- Experience:- 5+ Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in logistics, parcel, or transportation industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of logistics, supply chain operations, and distribution networks. Experience in process automation, WMS, and ERP systems is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including parcel sorting, handling, and dispatching. Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods, reducing transit delays and operational bottlenecks. Maintain adherence to company policies, SOPs, and industry regulations. 2. Process Optimization & Cost Control: Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency measures. Monitor cost control initiatives and optimize resource utilization. Ensure fuel and fleet expenses are managed efficiently. 3. Customer Service & Relationship Management: Ensure high service standards and resolve customer complaints effectively. Maintain positive relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Address escalations and ensure corrective actions are taken. 4. Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and train the branch operations team to enhance productivity. Conduct performance evaluations and ensure workforce discipline. Implement safety and compliance training programs. 5. Inventory & Fleet Management: Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of parcels. Monitor fleet operations and coordinate with logistics partners. Conduct regular audits for warehouse and vehicle efficiency. 6. Financial & Compliance Oversight: Monitor branch expenses, budget adherence, and revenue growth. Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances are met. Coordinate with finance for billing, invoicing, and reconciliation. 7. Reporting & Analysis: Maintain operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics. Provide periodic updates to senior management on branch operations.
