Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning standard codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments to ensure proper billing and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical records to determine appropriate codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems.

• Ensure accurate and timely coding of patient records.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses or procedures.

• Assist with claims audits and resolve coding-related issues.

• Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and reimbursement policies.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCA or equivalent).

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• 0-2 years of experience in medical coding (freshers can apply).

• Experience in inpatient/outpatient, ED, radiology, or anesthesia coding is a plus.

• Familiarity with insurance claim processes.

Salary:

15,000 20,000 per month (based on experience and location)
