Job Description
Essential/ Key Responsibilities- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement budgets.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their procurement requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
- Resolve supplier grievances and claims to ensure a positive vendor relationship.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, including cost analyses and savings achieved.
Operational Duties- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with various department heads.
Required Work Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase
- Prior work experience in Solar Industry is Preferred
Required Education
- Diploma or B. tech/B. E Electrical/Electronics.
Skills Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in working on ERP.
- Microsoft Office
- Negotiations with Vendors
