Jr. Software Developer (Frontend) @ Marriott

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using React and related technologies. Work closely with backend developers to integrate and test APIs. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and suggest better approaches where applicable. Debug and resolve application issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development Experience: 1-2 years of experience in frontend development. Hands-on experience working with React and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, Context API, etc.). Exposure to backend technologies is a plus but not mandatory. Skills: Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and related libraries. Experience with RESTful APIs and ability to integrate them efficiently. Understanding of component-based architecture and state management in React. Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging tools. Ability to design, optimize, and enhance UI components for scalability and maintainability. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Basic knowledge of backend concepts and technologies like Node.js, Go, RoR, PHP is a plus. Comfortable switching between different frontend frameworks if needed.
