Job Description
- Work in Scrum team of application developers (team members and vendor partners) and collaborate with a solution architects and onsite leads to effectively deliver projects, enhancements, and applications.
- Execute/Manage end to end project i.e., from Requirement Gathering to software development and implementation, and overseeing operations team
- Analyses and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements.
- Codes and maintains complex components of information systems.
- Develops and performs unit testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results.
- Ensure code quality by performing technical design and code reviews
- Module level ownership and ensure that any development that occurs in that module is as per the agreed solution.
- Propose automation solutions maximizing efficiency and productibility, addressing security and performance concerns and creating reusable code components
- Responsible for on-time development completion with low defect rate - through close interactions / reviews with the other developers
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum education: Bachelor s degree in any Engineering Stream
- Specialized training, certifications, and/or other special requirements: Nice to have
- Preferred education: Computer Science/Engineering
EXPERIENCE
- Very Good knowledge and hands on experience on COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 and IMS DB. Nice to have CICS.
- Possess strong analytical and documentation skills, attention to detail, strong verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and internal and/or external customers. Effective coordination with cross domain teams.
Preferred experience - 5-9 years
- Analyse, develop, unit test code.
- Create technical design documents.
- Collaborate with System testing and business teams for integration testing.
- Change and release management through implementation support.
- Work in scrum team and communicate the risks and blockers with mitigation plan effectively.

- Ensure zero defect delivery with minimal support and guidance.
