Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Lead specializing in Ruby on Rails and React, located in Bengaluru. The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development of web applications using Ruby on Rails and React, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, API design, security, and performance optimizations. The role involves leading a team of developers, reviewing code, conducting system analyses, and collaborating with other technical leads to integrate new features. The Technical Lead will also mentor junior team members and participate in technical discussions to drive best practices and innovation. Requirements 5+ years of experience developing production applications in Ruby on Rails. Strong understanding of backend architecture and design patterns. Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs. Deep knowledge of database design (PostgreSQL or MySQL preferred) and query optimization. Expertise in Rails concepts, including ActiveRecord, background jobs, and services. Familiarity with security best practices, including data protection and authentication/authorization (e.g., Devise, JWT). Experience with performance tuning and scalability in a Rails environment. Proficiency with testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec, Minitest). Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Heroku for deployment. Experience with version control using Git. Frontend development experience with React and JavaScript (ability to contribute to both the backend and frontend). Team leadership and mentoring experience Bonus Skills Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration. Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.,
