Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President / DGM to oversee our entire Production and Operations function. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving organizational goals within the manufacturing and production industry. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive production and operations strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives, focusing on manufacturing and production processes. Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective operations across all manufacturing facilities, maximizing productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness in the context of production and manufacturing. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement in manufacturing and production, implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards, particularly in relation to manufacturing and production processes. Capacity Planning: Optimize production capacity to meet demand while minimizing costs and maximizing resource utilization within the manufacturing and production context. Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives specifically targeted at manufacturing and production processes to improve profitability and maintain a competitive advantage. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a safe and healthy work environment within the manufacturing and production setting. Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing carrying costs and stockouts while considering the specific requirements of manufacturing and production processes. Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain that supports manufacturing and production operations. Qualifications: Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field with a strong emphasis on manufacturing and production processes. Minimum of 10 years of experience in production and operations management within the manufacturing and production industry.
