Job Description
- Company Description ZECOMY, a brand of Eco eMarket Pvt Ltd, is a B2B smart digital platform addressing waste management challenges in India. The platform brings sellers and recyclers/waste processors together for seamless disposal with transparency and best commercials. ZECOMY has made a significant impact by reducing carbon emissions and diverting waste from landfills, all while ensuring compliance with pollution control board and MOEF policies. Role Description Will advise Zecomy, a waste exchange platform, to benchmark spot prices for metal scraps (steel, aluminium, copper, etc.) in various alloys, grades, sizes, and shapes from published indices as well as from trade intelligence prevailing for the specified location. Will identify appropriate metal buyers for onboarding our platform to participate in the e-auction processes. Onboard metal foundries on our platform for direct transactions with the sell side (including scrap pre-processing where needed to charge into furnaces) Zecomy clients are spread across India with a current special emphasis in Bengaluru, Mysore, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, NCR, Pune, Goa, Kolkata, Chennai, Coimbatore, Indore and Mumbai regions. Will scan the market to build a network of metal buyers across the country Qualifications and Skills Metal trading and recycling expertise Knowledge of waste management policies and regulations Experience in coordinating with sellers and recyclers Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to analyze market trends and optimize trade opportunities Proficiency in digital platforms and workflow management Problem-solving skills and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Management, or related field Location Preferably Bengaluru. Location of operation in other metros can be considered. Remuneration Fixed remuneration will be commensurate with the market expectations. A performance-based bonus is also applicable.,
