Job Description

• B.E Mechanical with 3 to 12 years of hands experience in concept and design of Machining and Gauge Inspection fixtures designing using CATIA V5 CAD Tool
• Good understanding of various Manufacturing processes, Resting, locating & Clamping principles
• Good in machining fixtures concept modeling and Drafting
• Experience in Design tools & fixtures for Assembly, welding & machining operations and add required automation. Support Lead in estimating tooling requirements & cost.
• Perform ergonomic analyses and studies.
• Organize design reviews.
• Manage project quality of deliverables, project timelines & communication with unit stakeholders as needed.
• Should be able to generate design concepts for aero structure components of medium / Assembly Fixtures.
• Good drawing reading skills.
• Materials used for Fixture design & Heat treatment process.
• Knowledge for Limit Fit & Tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret product drawings and prints.
• Good communication and ability execute project independently.
• Airbus experience is an added advantage
