Role Description The Marine Navigation and Communication Engineer will be essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of navigation and communication systems on marine vessels. This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Engineer (Grade-I) for the Navigation & Communications Division at Elcome Integrated Systems Pvt Ltd, Jamnagar, Gujarat. Responsibilities & Duties Servicing, installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of marine communication and navigation equipment, including GPS, radar, Echo Sounder, AIS, and electronic chart display and information systems (ECDIS). Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of navigation and communication equipment supplied by Elcome onboard. Work with vessel design and engineering teams to incorporate navigation and communication solutions into both new constructions and retrofit projects. Skill Sets Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field. Comprehensive understanding of marine navigation technologies, including GPS, radar, ECDIS, and AIS. Knowledge of maritime communication protocols, satellite communication systems, and radio frequency (RF) equipment. Experience with marine software applications for navigation and communication systems. Strong troubleshooting abilities with a knack for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with vessel crews, engineers, and regulatory bodies. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maritime regulations and safety standards. Minimum Experience 1-2 years in relevant field.,
