Python Developer/Platform Engineer

Exp _ 4 to 8 Yrs

Job Location : Bangalore

The Software Engineer will be a member of a full-stack team responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions for ADVA products including but not limited to the following: application development, system software architecture, software test development, and customer assistance. Requires ability to perform Engineering tasks for a major project or for projects of moderate complexity with limited direction.

Mandatory Skills :

1. Hands on experience on Python, Functional Programming, Unit Test Mocking Frameworks

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education required.
• Level of Experience - 4 to 8 years
• Experience with software design, implementation and debugging including inter-process communication and multi-threading techniques is required.
• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.
• Experience with Python Development.
• Experience with Test Drive Development or Unit Test Mocking Frameworks.
• Experience developing in containerized applications (Docker or equivalent).
• Familiarity with REST.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Logstash.
• Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible).
• Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with functional programming.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Experience developing and deploying large scale applications.
• Familiarity with Ethernet and networking protocols.
• Experience with Bash Scripting
• Experience with Robot test framework.
• Experience working with Kafka.
• Experience with Postgres.
• Experience with Zookeeper.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with source code management tools and best practices (Git).
