Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The selected candidates will be deployed to the Electrical Maintenance Division for maintaining
a. Substations HT/LT equipment and distribution system.
b. All types of pumping systems and control panels.
c. Project planning, estimate and execution, billing etc.
d. Solar PV and Heating systems and any other utility related fields as required by division.
Preferred candidate profile
B.Tech. / B.E. in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience of one year after the degree.
Applicants with integrated M. Tech / M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering will also be eligible.
OR
3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience of six years after the diploma.
The relevant experience should be in electrical maintenance and project execution related to HT/ LT
Power Distribution including sub-station and substation automation, design, estimation, execution of
electrical installations of buildings/ hostels, Motor panel/ Starter maintenance and trouble shooting.
Desirables:
Working Knowledge of Computer Applications, AutoCAD and Engineering drawings.

Perks and benefits
Pay Level 6 (35400-112400)/ Pay Level 7 (44900-142400) as per provisions of Recruitment Rules and Promotion Policy of the Institute. Initial appointment on 3-year contract at Pay Level 6 (35400-112400). Subsequent substantive appointment at Pay Level 7 (44900-142400) by placement.
Age limit: 32 years (on the application closing date) with applicable age relaxations.
