Job Description
Role: Data Science Technical Lead (Python, Machine Learning, NLP, Cloud)
Exp.: 9-13 years
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. As the
Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers, data scientists,
and machine learning specialists in the development and deployment of cutting-edge projects.
You will also be responsible for customer interactions, meeting their expectations in the given
budget and timelines. Your expertise in Python, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing,
ChatGPT or equivalent LLMs, and Cloud technologies, particularly Azure, will be instrumental in
driving our technical initiatives forward.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical leadership and project management, with a focus on Python, Machine Learning and Cloud technologies.
- Specifically, strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions in the field of Natural Language Processing, ChatGPT or equivalent LLMs
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and its associated libraries/frameworks, with hands-on experience in developing scalable and efficient solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, algorithms, and frameworks, with experience in applying them to real-world problems.
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and expertise in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and project management principles.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring technical teams, fostering their growth, and promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Exceptional customer interaction skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders, understand their technical needs, and provide effective consultation and support.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the team, helping them solve complex technical challenges and develop their skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand their technical needs, provide consultation, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and development within the team.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Python, Machine Learning, and Cloud computing, and apply them to drive innovation and improvement in our projects.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation practices, and quality assurance processes, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in Python, Machine Learning, and Cloud computing, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate or similar.
- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
