Job Description
SU/COMA/F-2/PROJECT/SROY/DST-ICPS/ADV-02 Date: 31.03.2020No. of Vacancies: 01Stipend : Fellowship: As per DST-India guidelines Rs.25,000/- per month for two years and Rs. 28,000/- for the third year. 10% HRA extra as per rule.Title of the project : Large Scale Biological Network Reconstruction and Analysis for Identifying Therapeutic Targets for Alzheimers Disease: A Big Data InitiativeDuration of the project : 3 Years (01 year completed)Tenure of Appointment : Initially for six (06) months and extendible up to the tenure of the project based on the performance.Qualification and Experience: M.Tech. in IT/CSE, M.Sc (CSE/IT) or M.C.A. (regular courses only) from any recognized institute with good academic records, sound mathematical knowledge and programming knowledge in the environment like R, Python, PHP, java scripts etc. Candidate in final semester of their qualifying examination with exceptional programming skill and having experience of below mentioned preferred skill set may also apply. Preference: i. Proven experience in Data mining/Machine Learning/similar areas related to the project theme in the form of Research Papers. ii. Hands-on knowledge in CUDA, PyCUDA, NUMBA or gpuR for implementing parallel methods. iii.
