Job Description:

We are looking for skilled Middleware Admins with hands-on experience in WebSphere, WebLogic, and scripting, for an exciting cloud migration project. This is a 6-month extendable contract with a top-tier client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain WebSphere, WebLogic, and Tomcat application servers.
  
• Participate in AWS Migration projects migrating environments from VMC to AWS.
  
• Automate repetitive tasks using Shell or Python scripting.
  
• Troubleshoot application/server issues using logs, thread dumps, and heap dumps.
  
• Configure and support IBM HTTP Server (IHS) and Apache web servers.
  
• Handle application deployments (.war/.ear files) across standalone and clustered environments.
  
• Work in a Linux/UNIX environment and ensure system stability and performance.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• WebSphere Administration (including clustering, patching, deployments)
  
• WebLogic Administration
  
• Strong experience in Shell scripting or Python
  
• Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux
  
• Exposure to AWS or cloud migration projects
  
• Experience with middleware troubleshooting (logs, dumps, monitoring tools)
  

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with IBM MQ / JMS
  
• Experience with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, Splunk
  

Eligibility:

• Candidates with less than 8 years of experience
  
• Must be immediately available or have short notice
